The second phase of Champions League games takes place this week and Manchester United will be hoping to maintain the great start made by English clubs. Five English clubs went into the last 16, and three of them performed well last week, United will be looking to do the same here. They face a tough trip to Spain, but Sevilla are a team they can beat over two legs and there is no reason why United shouldn’t be confident going into the tie.
Recent Champions League Form
Sevilla are through to this stage of the Champions League despite winning just two of their six games in qualifying. They did only lose one, drawing the other three and those giving out Sevilla tips this week will be hoping they can keep this game tight, and score a winner at some point in the game.
It was more impressive from Manchester United, who won five in their six group games. They impressed both at home and away, and should be confident going into this tie. The Premier League title is out of reach, so the Champions League is becoming increasingly important for them.
